Results of APSSO selection trial - 9 July

Oh yeah …..Min Min won her matches at the selection trial :)

Min Min was not able to play her usual game as she has not recovered fully from the muscle strain in her right leg yet…but… thank God…. she made it through the selection.

APSSO will be a great opportunity for her to assess her standard of play against players from the other ASEAN countries.

Probably will take another week of rest for complete recovery, after which, she will be able to go back to training. She said she misses her “usual” intensive training as she has only been doing mainly conditioning exercises and light training for the last month or so.

Looks like we may have to give the Malaysian Inter-state competition in mid August a miss :(

Anyway….. see how it goes…….

APSSO selection trial – 9 July

Min Min has been shortlisted for the badminton selection trial for the 4th ASEAN Primary School Sports Olympiad (APSSO).

Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah….heh…..  :)

The trial is at 3pm today at CCAB. Only 2 out of 4 shortlisted players will be selected.  It will be great for Min Min to be able to compete in the APSSO games which will be held sometime November in Jakarta, Indonesia.

1st leg of the Malaysian 100Plus National Junior Circuit Badminton Championship (Zone B) (25/2/2010 – 28/2/2010)

JM played in the Girls (12 & Under) Singles and Doubles category where state players from Selangor, Johor, Trengganu, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Malacca pitted their skills against one another in Johor Bahru from 25-28 February 2010.

Pilot Pen 2010 Schools Individuals Badminton Championship

JM represented her school, Nanyang Primary School, to compete in this tournament under the Girls Singles (12 & Under) category. The earlier rounds of the competition were held at CCAB, Bukit Timah from 9-12 March 2010. The finals was held on 22 March at the Jurong East Sports & Cultural Centre.

Min Min is into the Finals of the competition. Her match is at about 2.30pm today at the Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall. Her opponent is from Indonesia.

Min Min is into the Quarter-Finals (Hip Hip Hurray!!!) – her match is scheduled for 3.30pm tomorrow (3 Dec) at the Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall.
